On Saturday, March 19, Orleans Parish Sheriff Marlin Gusman welcomed hundreds of greater New Orleans residents to his 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Audubon Riverview “Fly” area behind Audubon Zoo.

Those participating in the Easter Egg Hunt were able to turn in the eggs they found in exchange for a candy gift bag and some lucky hunters received large souvenir eggs from Sheriff Gusman. After the hunt, attendees young and old took part in several fun games and activities, such as potato sack races and face painting, and they were also treated to music and food all complements of the Sheriff’s Office.

The Easter Egg Hunt was organized by the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office and sponsored by the Audubon Institute, Walmart, Coca-Cola Bottling, Zapp’s Potato Chips, and Aramark Food Services.
