Who has been a big influence in your career?
My mother has been the only and biggest influence in my career. She will support anything I want to do, but she believes I have a talent in writing so she pushed me towards my calling.
Tell us something you are most proud of.
I found my purpose in life and that is to work with young teens struggling in their Christian journey.
Where did you grow up and what was it like?
I grew up in New Orleans, Slidell and Jackson, Mississippi. I spent a lot of time with family in Jackson while attending elementary, middle and high school in Slidell. New Orleans is great - I've had much more of a social life in the city. However, all three of these places are a part of me.
What do you do for fun outside of the office?
I love, love, love going to the movies, but if I’m not there, then I am spending time with family, which is something that I also love to do.
What makes the Gulf Coast stand out for you?
Seafood, the cooking, the culture and history.
What is something that most people do not know about you?
My faith is a big part of my life. I have been a part of my church broadcast ministry, The Avenue, for five years and I am part of the first Children’s and Youth and Young Adult newsletter ministry.
